Hyper-Relaxation (even when you are working)

In this hyper-fast, hyper-energy world it is always a treat to find a spot where unwinding is impossible to avoid. Check out C-Shells in Salt Pond, Long Island, Bahamas. Cheryl is the perfect hostess and she will ensure that you have what you need to chill-out in the warm waters of Long Island. Get away from from the rush and enjoy the hush. Don’t expect any excitement, this is a five star Hammock destination.

The Knowledge Bridge team routinely uses C-Shells when on business in Long Island. The internet connectivity is reliable and there is ample work space in the suites. The only problem is the draw of the beach.

Sympatico Top 10 for Value

Sympatico.ca Travel : PhotoGalleries : articlesPHOTO_GALLERY_TRAVEL_2011_VALUE_DESTINATIONS_50PLUS : Syria.

It is great to see Syria on the list.  There are many opportunities for the traveller in that ancient land. Bustling, cosmopolitan, Damascus has some wonderful accommodation and there is much to discover.  The serenity of the Syrian desert is remarkable, and the hospitality of the Bedouin and villager inhabitants is etched in my memory.  There are many hammock traveller stories to be told of adventures in Syria, so watch these pages.

Salt Cay defines a hammock destination.

The Island of Salt Cay, Turks and Caicos, is the quintessential hammock destination.  J and I measure relaxation against the Salt Cay experience.  From the airstrip, overrun with cattle and feral donkeys, to the pristine (try to find a footprint) beaches, this island defines laid back.

A cast of island characters from a dew rag wearing, CD spinning, Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police constable to the grandmotherly Netty, who runs a general store, make anyone feel at home and part of the island fabric.

Ollie and Debbie at Salt Cay Divers have the gear and the experience to help you make the most of the surrounding waters.  Check with Porter for accommodation.
